Andy received his PhD from the University of Hong Kong focusing in plant specialized metabolism. He conducted LC-MS/MS-based metabolomics analyses to interrogate the endogenous ability of crop plants to biosynthesize a wide array of natural products. He joined the BRC Proteomics and Metabolomics Facility in September 2023 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate working on small molecule analyses such as compound identification and metabolite quantification from various sources. In December 2024, Andy was promoted to a Research Associate.
